Metal heels are in!

If you seen the latest from the Batman series is 'Dark Knight Rising". Catwoman has some meeean high heel boots. In the movie, the shoes she has on has a metal heel which she uses to corner a bad guy (sorry spoiler). But apparently metal heels, or the "cigarette heel" is in. What do you think?? I really like the Sam Edelmans in the gold and black.

So I had to find out the hard way you pretty much need both. The shoe stretcher and a shoe stretcher spray. That is unless you have time to spray your shoes with the spray then walk around in them for 12 hours. I also had to find out after ordering the wrong kind, which ones I need. Both types are available at most local shoe stores or Amazon.com.

The invisible or "floating" heel

So do "real" people wear these kinds of shoes? I always see pictures of celebrities wearing them, better yet walking a short distance to their car or posing for pictures in them. Not actually shopping or walking very far in them. Maybe they fall into the shoe category of 'looking so damn good but hurting so damn bad'. Any thoughts?

Walking on sunshine (literally)

I don't know about you but I always get a good laugh when I'm leaving the club and see women tip toeing to the car like they are walking on a hot skillet. Or walking on the outsides of their shoes because they hurt so damn much because they just had to wear those shoes!!
Knowing very will they were too small, too narrow, had no support, had no padding........

Fairfax 3

These are Fairfax 3 by Report Signature. They came out 2 winter seasons ago, but are still hot and still in. For those who don't know, Report makes shoes and boots up to a size 10. Of course the size 10's and 11's vanish first. I'm hoping Report does another release this winter, I have black but I waited to long hoping the cognac would go on sale and missed out! On the models I've seen wearing these boots skinny calves made the boots look baggy, but women wearing these boots with bigger calves (muah) made the boots look great.

Peep toes

I love peep toes. I also hate peep toes. I love the peep toe shoes that give a "peep" of your toes. High heel shoes that let the first 3 toes hang out I hate.

I was watching TMZ and this girl mentioned she has eaten cup of noodles for a week for every meal just to save to get a pair of shoes. My thoughts were she is obivously nuts and probley has no children. Here are my favorite designers; some of them have shoes that go up to a size 12, ALL of them have shoes that go up to size 10. I wouldn't post or give a damn about them if they did not go up to a size 10. Don't you hate going in the shoe store crossing your fingers and toes hoping the have that size 10, 10.5 or 11!!!
