Oh Oh Oh who woulda known! HSN has Rachel Roy, Pour La Victoire, Betsy Johnson and more!

HSN has done a good job over the years attracting a younger audience. I used to think the HSN and QVC where for electronics or impulse buys that become junk. But now they sell clothes, shoes, boots, and handbags. HSN in particular is carrying some of my favorite shoe brands: Rachel Roy, Vince Camuto, Pour La Victoire.

Sunday morning find! Jerome Rousseau vs. Gweneth Shoes

Good morning! I was just about to close my laptop when I saw on my ShoeRazzi feed some super cute metallic heels from Jerome Rousseau.

'Orner' By J. Rousseau is a 5' heel with a 1' platform from the Fall 2012 collection that runs $795 and goes up to a size 10 available at shopbop.

'Allessandra' by Gweneth Shoes is also a 5' platform sandal with a back zipper that cost $169 and run up to a size 14 available at Gweneth Shoes.

I do love the J. Rousseau's but this is a metallic heel for crying out loud. My pockets appreciate the shoes from Gweneth shoes plus they go up to a size 14! Happy Sunday

Aldo review

I mentioned in August that I would do a review on Aldo shoe sizing. Aldo has some really cute styles in pumps, sandals and boots that I could never fit. So naturally I was quite excited when I read on the Aldo website that they have half sizing, hoping that would improve the sizing (if you don't know, Aldo shoes run SMALL). On Thursday September 6, 2012 I went to S.F for fun at Macy's Fashion's night out. I entered the Aldo store giddy and ready to try on 'Romelia', a patent leather pointed to heel available in 8 cute colors.

The sales associate brought out a size 10 and 11. I opened the box for the size 10 and just looked at it and said told her these will not fit, just on site I knew they would not. I tried on the size 11 and was disappointed yet not surprised:

I had to laugh. The shoe made my feet look like those pastry bags used to apply icing. Oh yes, another gripe for Aldo. Why carry "special sizes" but not have them available in the stores???? So there it is, Aldo women shoes still run narrow and short.

I learned some new things!

It is such a great thing that designers are making designs for bigger feet. My searches have lead me to a lot of flats or low heels. Well, WHAT ABOUT THE HIGH HEELS? The cute ones that that can be worn on other days BESIDES Halloween, that don't cost a car note! I bumped into a few unknowns today. Enjoy!

heels.com- Am I late! Rupaul has a line of shoes through Iron Fist. They are available at heels.com which goes up to a size 12. Heels.com unbelievably WIDE selection of size 11; all below are under $200!!

Barefoot tess- I am impressed with the brands Barefoot Tess has been able to culminate in one place such as Jeffrey Campbell all the way up to a size 14, Dolce Vita all the way up to a size 13, Boutique 9 up to a size 12, and Steve Madden (flats)

Design your own shoes Milk and Honey shoes vs. Shoes of Prey

I read some while ago about Milk and Honey shoes and how you can design your own shoe!! SO cool right! Only downside for some may be the price. They have a great return policy and go up to a size 13 in women shoes!

Pain is beauty?

Pain is beauty, as a question not a statement. It used to be a statement, as more often then not women squeeze their feet or body into something to tight or small because it was 'beautiful'. In time realized I have the power to define what is beauty to me and on me. I've also learned one size does not fit all. Thanks to designers like Nine West and Samanta (to name a few), there are heels available for women all the way up to a size 14.

Be good to your feet so they look good!

Picks for the week sizes 10-14 under $200!

It is hard having big feet! No pretty way of saying it or putting it. When I flip through fashion magazines or watch movies or see pictures of celebs, my focus naturally drifts down at what shoes she is wearing before I even look at the outfit. My next actions are usually to surf the web to find the shoes and hope they have at LEAST a size 10. Lastly, would be to find those same shoes that I can afford.
